As we prepare to launch our new podcast, we’re going to share some of our thoughts on narrative approaches here - and once we begin publishing episodes, we’ll update with links, show-notes, and other things we think you might find interesting or useful here.
Over the years, we’ve worked together and separately on a wide range of story-based endeavours, ranging from collecting life stories in oral history projects, working with children and young people to build creative writing skills, working therapeutically with stories of people in conflict and telling stories through dance and music-making, producing theatre, and publishing poems.
We’ve created, critiqued and puzzled together over what a story is - and what they can tell us about what a person is, what identity means, what we are collectively - and the limits and possibilities that stories suggest.
